Cache Valley Electric’s Design Build Department awarded contract for New Police Academy and Culinary Arts School at Salt Lake Community College

Cache Valley Electric’s Design Build Department has been awarded a contract for the new Larry H. Miller Public Safety and Culinary Arts buildings.  Both facilities will be located on Salt Lake Community College’s Miller Campus in Sandy, Utah.

CVE’s contract consists of engineering and construction services for both the Public Safety and Culinary Arts complexes.  The Public Safety facility includes new dormitories, police officer safety training classrooms, simulators, crime lab training, administrative and executive offices, and an indoor shooting range.  The Culinary Arts complex consists of a new cafeteria for Food Services and the Culinary Arts program.

Sahara, Inc. of West Bountiful, Utah is the General Contractor on this project.  Anticipated completion for the construction is September 2006.
